Medical Professionals

Topic Focus

All submissions must be related to oncology, encompassing:

  • Solid tumors
  • Non-solid tumors (hematological malignancies)
  • Diagnostics and screening
  • Curative management

Submission Requirements

Language

All abstracts must be submitted in English

Originality

Work must be original and not previously published, entered in other competitions, or part of a thesis/dissertation

Registration

Important guidelines for all selected participants

1 Registration

All participants must be registered as attendees of The 6th Siloam Oncology Summit 2026.

2 Categories

The poster competition is divided into three categories:

  • Original Research
  • Case Report
  • Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
3 Poster Content
Header
  • Title
  • Name of the primary author/presenter (underlined)
  • Affiliated authors (if any)
  • All names must be written without academic titles
  • The name of the institution should be written below the authors' names
Body
  • Abstract
  • Background
  • Methods (for Original Research, Systematic Review, and Meta-analysis) or Case description (for Case Report)
  • Results (for Systematic Review, Meta-analysis, and Original Research)
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
4 Digital Submission
Poster File
  • Format: .pdf
  • Minimum resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels
Presenter Photo
  • Size: 4x6 cm headshot
  • Format: .jpg
Deadline: Both files must be uploaded to sos2026.meirs.id/abstract no later than May 18, 2026, at 23:59 WIB
5 Physical Poster Specifications
  • Format: Portrait
  • Size: 120 cm x 80 cm
  • Print resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Ensure text, images, and graphics are clearly visible
6 Presentation Slides

Participants whose posters are selected for the competition are also expected to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of their scientific abstract.

  • Maximum limit: 20 slides
  • Ensure graphics and text are clear
7 Submission of Physical Posters

Printed posters must be submitted to the committee starting May 22, 2026, at 07:00 WIB for registration and poster number assignment.

8 Installation

Participants are responsible for installing their own posters in the designated area before May 23, 2026, at 08:00 WIB.

Participants are advised to bring their own installation supplies.
9 Poster Presentation

Presentations will be held before judges and attendees on May 23 – 24, 2026, starting at 09:00 WIB (the presentation order will be announced later).

  • Presentations may be delivered in English at the participant's poster stand
  • Duration: 5 minutes for presentation
  • Q&A: 2 minutes
10 Oral Presentation

The winners of each poster category will be allowed to deliver an oral presentation (using the previously prepared PowerPoint) during the Plenary Session on Day 3, May 24, 2026.

11 Winners

Winners of the poster competition will be announced on May 24, 2026, during the main closing event.

12 Plagiarism Policy

All collected posters will be screened; any discovered plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
